Can you believe it’s been 10 years since hot rap tracks like “Gold Digger” and “Drop It Like Its Hot” have dropped?!?! Time flies, take a trip down memory lane and check out the top hip-hop songs of 2005. All in all, 2005 was one of hip hop’s more successful years on the Billboard charts. Even the songs that aren’t considered “hip hop” by definition, were sonically rap influenced. Country, pop, and rock music were all drawing inspiration from hip-hop’s dominating year.
