Kanye, Lupe, and Pharrell surprised us all when they teamed up to forge the supergroup CRS (Child Rebel Solidier) back in 2007. The trio jumped together on a track and birthed “Us Placers.” Rave reviews sparked the idea of a possible album consisting of West, Pharrell, and Lupe. After numerous setbacks, Lupe told Sohh.com that they group planned to drop in 2010, but nothing materialized. In 2013, Lupe said that plans to release a project went sour.
