In hip-hop, image is everything. So much- that if you don’t have a fresh cut, you’ll probably forfeit going out until you get one. If your cut ain’t fresh, you ain’t fresh.
The folks over at Bevel took us on a look back in history of the popular and barbershop standard haircut, the fade. Originally what began in the 50’s a standard hairstyle for cadets enlisting in the military has evolved into a go-to look for todays man. By definition, a fade is when the back and sides are shaved to the skin and the top is blended or faded into slightly longer hair. It takes a talented and patient barber to finesse the fade properly without leaving behind unblended lines. Check out the full article here.
