Def Jam Upfronts: Recap

Typically held for television and broadcast networks, Def Jam presented its first ever artist Upfronts last night, where they showcased and displayed Def Jam’s next rising stars. Vince Staples, Lil’ Durk, Elijah Blake and Alessia Cara performed for the room full of industry vets, while a reel of Def Jam’s already established and legacy acts played during artist sets. Def Jam also Snapchat’ed the event via @JustJulz. HHMW got an exclusive invite from our friends over at Def Jam and got a birds eye view to peep out the new talent.
