After winning the 2015 Scripps National Spelling Bee, 14 year old Gokul Venkatachalam, who wore a icey pair of Air Jordan XIs, told reporters after his win that he hopes to one day have a sneaker deal like professional athletes. Although his dreams of landing a sneaker deal have yet to come to fruition, he did receive something a little bit better (at least for now). Following his public statement, Gokul received a signed pair of Nike LeBron 12s personally from LeBron James as well as a player exclusive colorway of the LeBron IIs to go along with some Beats headphones and Cavaliers gear.

There’s been no official word on whether or not LeBron will sign him to his LRMR sports marketing and branding firm, but nonetheless, good Sh*t, LeBron! Hat’s off to you.
