In the doc, Nasir says:

There was nothing more important to me than having a voice. I always believed that I could give people my ideas through art.

20 years ago, Nas was tapped by Sprite because of his virtuosic lyricism to star in the classic 1997 Sprite ad and here we are in 2015 watching and hearing what originally drove him to break into the world of hip-hop.
