Chapter 11: Is 50 Cent Bankrupt?

50 Cent may be one of the richest rappers, but it looks like he might be in the midst of some financial troubles. The artist filed for chapter 11 bankruptcy protection on Monday, while claiming assets and debts in the range of $10 million to $50 million.

The rapper, who has alluded to a lack of liquid assets in recent interviews, has most likely filed for bankruptcy as a response for losing a lawsuit to Lastonia Leviston. A jury ordered Curtis Jackson to cough up $5,000,000 to Rick Ross’ baby mama for leaking her sextape with her ex-boyfriend.
