First Lady, Michelle Obama has teamed up with popular MMG member for her Reach Higher initiative, which focuses on sharing tools and strategies students can use to successfully transition to college and the resources they will need to complete the next level of their education. The chart-topping/sensitive rapper will perform in concert for the initiative at the White House, as a part of the Beating the Odds Summit. Michelle Obama has invited 130 college-bound students who come from special needs, under-served, homeless, foster, rural, and urban experiences from around the country.

Wale is the only invited musical performer and is looking forward to it. He took to Twitter and indirectly thanked Michelle Obama with a reference to one of his songs, “Flotus Flower”.
