According to an old email that was sent back in May to the head of media relations for Baltimore Police, Rih Rih was planning an impromptu benefit performance in Baltimore for Freddie Gray who was murdered by Baltimore Police. However, the benefit concert was stopped due to city officials having little knowledge of the performance.

Rihanna was set to fly into Maryland and head to Baltimore by public transportation but once Mayor Rawlings-Blake got word of the concert from her spokesperson she immediately prevented Rihanna from performing.Period.
