Nelly Officially Becomes an Independent Artist

Nelly is finally a free agent! After fifteen years of putting out music for Universal Motown Records, the St. Lunatic has finally fulfilled his seven album contract and is ready to find a new home to release his music. The rapper is currently trying his hand in acting and has most recently starred in BET’s popular reality series along Kevin Hart, The Real Husbands of Hollywood.

In 2014, Nelly also scored his own reality TV series, Nellyvillem which follows him and his family around and all their day-to-day activities. So it seems as if the acting world has embraced Nelly with open arms.
