The Game was (and still is) a product of the west coast. Many say that the Game was the beginning of the new west coast sound but yet kept the sound in a traditional manner. His rapping skills are undeniably fresh!

Today marks the release of LAX, the Game’s third LP release under Geffen. Within its debut it shot up to #2 on the Billboard charts, selling an impressive 238,000+ copies. Kanye West, Hi-Tek, Cool, and Dr. Dre all lent their superstar production mastery to the record, making it still an enjoyable listen.
