Lauryn Hill’s The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill is one of the best hip hop albums ever. Outside of our genre, the contemporary classic has been recognized by people of all likes all around the world. It’s been 17 years since L Boogie’s debut and only solo album, and music fans have been waiting for a follow up ever since. According to a frequent collaborator of the former Fugees member, our anticipation may end sooner than later.

In an interview with Fader, producer Phil Nicolo discussed his experience working with Lauryn Hill in the studio. Similar to her previous masterpiece, her current project under construction speaks on spreading awareness on both a political and personal note, except this time she’s “more musical.” While we don’t know when the album will drop, Nicolo assures she has more than enough album for a full LP.
