Today, at HHMW we would like to celebrate B.G.’s birthday. Known as the original Hot Boy, the rapper was the first artist signed to Cash Money Records abck in 1993. Mr Choppa City was a member of the group The B.G.’s alongside of another NOLA rapper named Baby D, who you might know now as Lil Wayne.

The Louisiana rapper has won a bunch of awards, performed in front of thousands worldwide and sold millions of records in his career. Unfortunately, his fame would come to an end due to a 14 year prison term. BG was sentenced to federal prison on gun charges and tampering with a witness. As a result of his legal issue, we would like to still wish him a Happy Birthday and hopefully he keeps his head up behind bars.
