Hip-hop is mourning the death of another artist gone way too soon. Coke Boyz rapper and French Montana affiliate Chinx was killed in a drive-by shooting in Queens early Sunday in his Porsche Panamera. Chinx, real name Lionel Pickens, had recently finished a performance in Brooklyn before gunmen connected with at least seven sits piercing through the mc’s front and rear driver-side windows. The Queens native was hit multiple times while his passenger, Antar Alziadi 27, was hit twice in the back at approximately 4a.m. on Queens Blvd. at 84th Drive in Briarwood. We send our condolences to Chinx’s family, friends, and fans. Stay tuned for more information on this developing story.
