Dr. Dre Details N.W.A. ‘Straight Outta Comton’ Biopic

Yesterday was the 20th anniversary of Eazy E’s passing, and to celebrate his collaborator’s life Dr. Dre discussed the upcoming N.W.A. biopic on Big Boy’s neighborhood. The billionaire explains the initial resistance to filming the movie and says he hopes the film inspires people and changes the general public’s misconception on how rappers feel about women. I hope they can be inspired, that was the main word we used when we went into this. We want to show the ultimate brotherhood, betrayal it has everything. And one of the things we really wanted to get across was how we feel about women, because theres a big misconception.
