Dr. Dre is already one of the richest hip-hop artists in the world, and he can thank Apple for that. Since the hip-hop legend is already close to being a billionaire, the last thing he needs is more money. We love when rappers act philanthropic, so when you find out what Dre plans to do with his the royalties from his new album sales, you will definitely want to buy it.

Dr. Dre is back with his first project in 16 years, and no it isn’t Detox. Instead we have Compton: A Soundtrack by Dr. Dre, an album inspired by the city of Compton and the filming of the N.W.A. biopic Straight Outta Compton. The Good Doctor definitely has the city in his heart, and announced he plans to donate all of the royalties to help build an arts and entertainment city for kids in his hometown. Now, that’s DOPE!
