There isn’t even an argument, and it goes without saying but Drake and Future have definitely dominated hip-hop in 2015. Whether it was Drizzy’s platinum selling mixtape turned album, If You’re Reading This Its too Late or Future Hendrix killing the game with the three mixtapes and on top of the critically acclaimed Dirty Sprite 2 album he’s dropped, nobody has been hotter than the duo this year. Previously, the two hit the road together throughout the year in the Jungle tour and it looks like they worked on new music in process.

When news broke out last week that Drake and Future would be collaborating on a mixtape together we thought it was another made up tabloid rumor. Fans even leaked cover art for the project, which featured the OVO owl draped in the Free Bandz trademarked purple. We all hoped the project would drop soon, but didn’t get our hopes high enough to avoid the let down.

According to one of Drake’s latest Instagram posts, hip-hop may have wished the collaboration into fruition.
