John Singleton’s Series About The Rise of Crack Heading to FX

Famed director, John Singleton of classic movies such as Boys n the Hood, Baby Boy and 2 Fast 2 Furious to name a few, has created a new series about the the crack epidemic in LA during the 80s, Snowfall. Singleton says Snowfall will focus on a trio of main characters; a dealer, ex-Mexican wrestler and now gangster, and prodigal son. Originally when creating the show, Singleton wanted it to live on Showtime, but it’s been picked up by cable channel competitor, FX.
