On Monday afternoon Kanye West, received an honorary doctorate from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago (SAIC). The prestigious art institution named Kanye “a leader in the music industry, a Grammy Award-winning recording artist and producer, a well as a fashion designer and interdisciplinary artist whose work provokes culture discourse by reflecting a realism of the street.”
Like him or not, Kanye has made some amazing strides in art. From music to designing and getting capsule lines from major fashion houses, to introducing us to fine art through his album covers, he is a true renaissance man.
