Amil was once dubbed JAY Z’s protege. Despite having a strong team in Roc-A-Fella and a dozen of looks to help her pop into a solo entity, she never was able to put the pieces together. After he debut album A.M.I.L – All Money Is Legal flopped, the label dropped her. She continued her path in music and even released new joints up until 2014. In a past interview with Vibe in 2011, she revealed that she hasn’t spoken to JAY Z in years and that there wasn’t any bad blood between the two.
