We’re celebrating the man the myth the legend Esco aka Nasir Bin Olu Dara Jones aka Nas a happy birthday as he turned 42 today. He’s not officially from Queensbridge as Nas was born in Brooklyn. Strange right? LOL.

The MC grew a love for music at a very young age as Nas’s father, Olu Dara, was (and still is) a jazz recording artist. It is clearer now that we know how and why Nas creates records the way he does (from production and otherwise). Music, in other words, is in his blood.
