Us hip-hop fans have always said that our genre of music is the most influential, and now we have the numbers to back our argument. Scientists in the UK recently conducted a study comparing and contrasting rap music’s influence on the charts to other groundbreaking emergences like Beatles invasion, progressive rock, punk rock, & more. It turns out that no other genre had a stronger impact and influence than hip-hop.
