PROFILE: Ian Connor (The King of The Youth)

A photo posted by HipHopMyWay (@_hiphopmyway_) on

Self-proclaimed King of The Youth, Ian Connor has gone from modeling for street wear brands, mobbing with A$AP Mob, running around Paris with Kanye West & Virgil Abloh (Kanye West’s Creative Director) to breaking bread with fashion heavyweights like Raf Simons, all under the age of 25. With a style thats as unpredictable as his attitude, his risk-taking, f*ck-authority attitude is reflected in his unique and undeniably chill aesthetic. Standing at a towering 5’2″ Ian Connor, purposely stays away from large crowds, following in the footsteps of street wear brand creative directors, Angelo Baque (Supreme) and Eddie Cruz (Undefeated). He says’s instead of having a sh*t-load of people always around him, he’d rather just find everybody over time:

I’M FOREVER THE UNDERDOG. I DON’T CARE WHAT I ACCOMPLISH. I’M ALWAYS GOING TO BE UNDERESTIMATED BASED OFF MY SIZE OR THE WAY I LOOK OR THE WAY I TALK SOMETIMES.

In a recent interview with Complex, Ian talks about his career, his look, his influence, drugs and how he may have single handedly made Sketchers hot again. Check out the full interview here and follow him on Instagram @ianconnorsrevenge
