Donald Glover has been rapping as his alter-ego Childish Gambino for as long as we can remember, but it looks like those days are coming to an end. During a sit-down with The Today Show the actor turned rapper had this to say about his alias:
I guess Childish Gambino is like a period of my art time, and I want to have periods in my life, so I feel like Childish Gambino is a period that should come to a close. I like endings.
The Grammy nominated artist reassured the name change wouldn’t mean an end to music entirely. I always want to do music and I love music. Im already putting out projects quietly everywhere and I want to produce. Stay tuned.
