Johnny, you’re 23-years-old. Granted, you’re still a young player. You’ve proven your abilities during your days at Texas A&M where you evaded tackles and proved to be a human joystick because of your slew of moves. Nobody can ever take away your accomplishments on the college level. But, if you want to survive on the pro-level, you will need to behave. Once you get released or traded from Cleveland — because let’s face it, it’s inevitable — you’ll be a back-up quarterback. The best thing you can do is learn and be prepared. Right now, no one sees you as a first string quarterback. They see a kid who is raw with potential.  The Mel Kipers, Merrill Hodges are gleefully smiling at your dismay. They are relishing this moment because they called it.  Nike wants to drop you. LeBron’s marketing agency just dropped you. Cleveland wants to get rid of you. If you care, if you have any sense of pride or competitiveness in you, you will not just simply take your shot at redemption; you’ll own it.
