J. Cole Keeps Promise To Fan

Back in 2013, Jermaine Cole or most commonly known to the public as J.Cole, made a promise to one young High School girl and two years later, keeping his word, he followed through on his promise. In 2013, Washington Township High School student, Cierra Bosarge wrote a letter asking Cole to attend her HS graduation. Probably not expecting Cole to respond back, Cole surprisingly reached back out and assured Cierra that he would attend, but under one condition — that she got accepted into a 4-year college.

Maybe, using that ammo inspiration, the then-sophomore Cierra held up her end of the bargain and got good grades, all along checking in with Cole via Twitter, and got accepted to not just one, but a few universities. Taking time away from his very busy schedule of touring (such as prepping for a wedding, etc), Cole made both her graduation and day!

I wonder if other rappers like Kanye, Hov and Nicki did incentivized the same thing — would students be more prone to do better in school? What do you think?
