Jay-Z Wins The Masters of Two of His Classic Albums

Another victory for Jay-Z. The rapper turned mogul recently was awarded the rights to the masters of two of his classic albums. A sound engineer by the name of Chauncey Mahan was holding the masters for Jay-Z’s 1999 albumThe Life and Times of S. Carter and his 2000 album, The Dynasty claiming that they belonged to him. The cops eventually seized the tapes from Mahan who in turn took the case to court. Well, Jay-Z won the court case that dated back to 2014. Congrats to S. Carter!
