Joey Badass paid a visit to Bloomberg TV to promote his new album and talk about how he got his start in music. During the interview, the now infamous Malia Obama Pro Era t-shirt photo came up. Joey Badass said that he thought it was “amazing” that the president’s daughter wore his t-shirt but he wasn’t aware of who she was at the time the photo was revealed. The Brooklyn artist talked about how he got discovered by posting a freestyle video on Youtube and Worldstarhiphop about nine times and the importance of grinding to get what you want.
