Kendrick Lamar Visits NJ High School For Free

Kendrick Lamar is the gift that keeps on giving. K. Dot upheld an agreement he made in April to visit High Tech High School in Lincroft, NJ after an English teacher’s curriculum involving To Pimp A Butterfly went viral.

Upon his arrival, rather than lecturing, K. Dot engaged in an open discussion with both students and faculty. Kendrick Lamar even went as far as to listen to teenagers in the poetry club recite their work and freestyle over an instrumental from a cell-phone.

For icing on the cake, Kendrick Lamar performed “Alright” for the students at the end.
