Knicks Entire Coaching Staff Let Go

Mike-Woodson

Phil Jackson is making moves! After bringing Lamar Odom onto the Knicks last week the new president’s next big move was firing head coach Mike Woodson and his entire staff this morning.

Woodson had a 109-79 record in parts of three seasons for the Knicks, but didn’t make the playoffs in the lackluster Eastern Conference this season. The Knicks also announced they will begin their coaching search immediately.

When Jackson said,”We’re in a talent hunt…We have to bring in talent,” that was not only limited to the players. Everyone in basketball operations and the coaching staff could lose their job with Jackson’s arrival. Jackson, 68, was hired last month in an effort to turn the Knicks’ fortunes around.

What else does Jackson have up his sleeve? Next season should be interesting!
