It’s about damn time! Leonardo DiCaprio finally snagged himself that once-elusive Oscar this past Sunday. The fifth time proved to be the charm when he was crowned Best Actor for his riveting performance in The Revenant.

After accepting his award, fellow Oscar-Winner, Jamie Foxx saluted him and even gave him a gift that only a few have have received during the lifetimes. In addition to his Oscar, DiCaprio was handed a ‘Black Card” to symbolize his entry into the black brotherhood. While speaking to TMZ at LAX on Monday, Foxx paid homage to his Django co-star and spoke favorably of his win Sunday night.

“My man Leo, come on man,” Foxx said. “You wanna talk about an honorary Black dude. Come on over Leo! You’re an honorary Black man. In Titanic he drowned, you know Black dudes can’t swim in the ocean.” If you think about it, this shouldn’t come as a surprise. Leo has been romantically linked to Rihanna and even rapped A Tribe Called Quest “Scenario” at a LA nightclub several years ago. Welcome aboard, Leo, you’ve made us proud!
