Lil Wayne fans will be happy to hear that his new album is dropping sooner than later. The Free Weezy Album is a project that Weezy is dropping in place of Carter 5, an offering that is still in a legal limbo battle with Birdman. The new Tidal co-owner announced when his LP is releasing at a recent show in Anaheim, California.

It’s looking like we’ll be celebrating more than Independence Day on July 4th. In the fan-shot video above, you can hear Tunechi revealing the Free Weezy Album release date after performing “We Be Steady Mobbin.” Who’s excited for this project?
