Mary J. Blige Taps Into Softer Side On New Song “When Your Gone”

The Queen of R&B Soul shows us a softer side on her new song “When You’re Gone” off her forthcoming album The London Sessions. Mary sings over an acoustic guitar:

“I’m not alone until you leave me. And I won’t get to sleep tonight, ’cause you’re not here beside me. When you’re away it’s never easy.”

The London Sessions is set for a December 2nd release and will also feature appearances from Sam Smith and Emile Sande. Listen to “When You’re Gone” below.
