Michael Jordan, by far, is a global and cultural icon from his days of playing basketball to present day with his continued legacy of sneakers, apparel, and more. Jordan is so much a cultural icon that today he’s considered the most name dropped basketball player in hip hop.

Sure, Hov name drops LeBron’s name here and there in some of his songs whereas Drake name drops Stephen Curry, but MJ is still the reigning champ of basketball players.
