After taking a leap into the cannabis industry, popular boxer Mike Tyson Remixes “Hotline Bling” On Jimmy Fallon has released his new line of cannabis edibles. The edibles are shaped like the ears of Evander Holyfield, a reference to one of his most iconic boxing matches.
Mike Bites; the name of the new line is causing a stir on the internet because of how hilarious the whole thing is. In the iconic 1997 boxing match, Mike Tyson took a bite off the ears of Evander Holyfield.
Since the bout, Mike has apologized to Evander, and paid a fine of 3 million dollars. Reports say that Tyson first pitched the idea to Holyfield on his podcast Hotboxin’ with Mike Tyson. In response Evander Holyfield had this to say
“How are you gonna forgive something like that? I say, everything that ever happened, at some point in time, I did it. Mike bit me, I say I bit somebody too – it just wasn’t on TV. I bit a guy in his shoulder, he dropped me, and I didn’t know when you have a concussion, you’ll bite too,”
In response to this statement Tyson said “You might be in business because we’re going to make some holy ears. Some edibles [of the ear] that got a bite taken out of ’em,”
Holyfield accepted the business proposition from Tyson, although we are unsure if he’s going to receive a portion from the sale of the edible.
