Racism showed its ugly head again as a South African judge decided to call out Mos Def prior to his court date earlier this week. On Tuesday, Mos was turned away because he elected to sport a turban as part of his court attire for his case regarding his fake passport.

Apparently perturbed by Mos’ turban, the judge shunned the rapper and asked to him to leave the court since he refused to remove his garment. After initially being turned away, Mos returned with a scarf wrapped around his head.
