Nas Produces ‘Get Fresh’ Documentary on Fashion and Hip Hop

The connection between fashion and hip hop culture is well-documented (and well-observed) throughout its history. The Life Is Good rapper Nas has decided to put $$$ behind the documentary, Fresh Dressed. Director Sacha Jenkins taps into hip hop’s brightest of the past and present by chronicling fashion within hip hop. With cameo’s from Diddy, Damon Dash, Kanye West, Pharrell Williams and more, the film tackles fashion as hip-hop’s revision of old-school modes — be they design flips or business models. The film is now available for pre-order and will be released on Vimeo On Demand, June 26.
