It’s safe to say that Nicki Minaj has had one heck of a year, from touring all over the world, promoting her no. 1 album, and blossoming her relationship with Meek Mill. Now, the female MC is getting the credit she deserves, as VH1 honored her during their ‘Big In 2015 with Entertainment Weekly’ party last night. The award was presented to Nicki by Queen Latifah, who is her co-star in their upcoming Barbershop 3 movie. The award reportedly “celebrates the people and brands that entertained us the most this year.”

She will also be honored with the big tribute in addition to O’Shea Jackson Jr., who will be presented his award by his father Ice Cube, for his role in the Straight Outta Compton movie. Funny enough, Cube is also set to star in Barbershop 3 alongside Nicki and Queen Latifah. The show is hosted by T.I., and will be airing on December 7 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on VH1.
