Adding to Kevin Durant’s fleet of signature KD 8’s, Nike releases a new colorway: the new “Hunt Hill Sunrise”. This version is a little bit more sentimental as the colorway, and its name, pays homage to a special part of KD’s past.

Hunt Hill, a place near his grandmother’s house and childhood recreation center, is where the sneaker gained its name. Durant says as a child he would take to the steep Hunt’s Hill in order to build mental toughness and stamina.

The sneaker features a bight-colored upper with yellow Flywire providing additional bursts of swag. The inspirational sneakers will hit Nike.com on August 1.
