With all of the success of the “Straight Outta Compton” movie as it earned record breaking sales for a R rated movie, it brought awareness to the inner workings of the music business and the individuals involved within the actual movie. And in result of the success, N.W.A is now a household name once again.

And that’s also with the original Straight Outta Compton record returning back to the charts, selling an amazing 10,000+ in its first week. We’re not sure if it’s because of the onset of a new fanbase after watching the recent biopic, or with the release of Dre’s long-awaited record in 16 years Compton. Or whether if it’s old fans reliving their nostalgic past with N.W.A’s storied history; regardless of the outcome, it’s a win-win situation for hip-hop fans. In better news, however, the D.O.C.’s voice has made a comeback.
