Pirus & Crips Speak On Kendrick Lamar’s Reebok Collaboration

We recently told you in efforts to bring unity amongst long time rival gangs, Bloods & Crips, that as a part of Kendrick Lamar’s Reebok deal, his “Paperwhite” Ventilator sneakers would attempt to do just that.

Lamar’s label, Top Dawg Entertainment (TDE) recently produced a video of rival gang members G Weed and Jigga from LA’s Piru Bloods and Crips, respectively, sitting down to discuss the nature of gang culture in Compton, the importance of Lamar’s music to the unity of the community, and Lamar and Reebok Classics’ collaborative Ventilator.

The message in the video is unity and shows that both gangs can co-exist and respect one another.
