50 Cent’s hit tv show Power is definitely exceeding all expectations. Not only has the show been picked up by Starz for a third season, but overall it has received rave reviews from the general public. Curtis Jackson’s progression as an actor and producer definitely shows in the success of Power.

With that said, it looks like someone is claiming 50 Cent might have stolen the idea for the show. An author claims he submitted a manuscript for G-Unit books in 2005 that focused on a main character owning the hottest nightclub in Atlanta, similar to Ghost’s situation with Truth in NYC. If that isn’t convincing enough, the writer suggests Power’s protagonist is a carbon copy of the main character in his novel, while also mentioning his best friend acts just like Tommy. If you’re still not convinced, the author goes by the pen name “Ghost.”
