The 90’s after school super heroes, the Power Rangers are making a comeback after a 20-year hiatus. Thanks to a partnership between the franchises creator and Lionsagate and Saban Brands, the movie will come to life. Although reports haven’t confirmed a plot or release date for the movie, there’s strong speculation that the movie will take on a more mature twist and will be out in 2017.
To date, the franchise has seen many reincarnations of the movie over the years; from the ’95 movie, which by the way grossed $66 million at the box office, to an animated series. In this turnaround, it is speculated to be the splashiest attempt to bring the franchise back to life.
