Prodigy Sues Universal Music For Unpaid Royalties

Record labels have been violating artists for years by blindsiding them with horrendous deals.  Prime example: Prodigy of Mobb Deep.

According to TMZ, he started up a lawsuit against the company for owing him close to $60,000 in money he believes was taken from him by the label.  The “Shook Ones” rapper is seeking the full amount in addition to attorney fees.

P explains how the label has been stealing more than 50% of his royalties from his solo endeavors, which wasn’t permitted in the group’s contract. As of now, Universal hasn’t commented on the lawsuit. Please make sure to SHARE with your friends.
