DMX just keeps going back. This rapper’s voice is one of the most recognizable in the industry. How many of us have his lyric from “Party Up in Here in our minds when stuff gets crazy? “Y’all gon’ make me lose my mind up in here, up in here…” That’s how I felt the first time I heard DMX get caught. His legal issues started in 1998. Even though he didn’t go to jail that rape and sodomy accusation cast a pall over Earl’s head (DMX’s real name is Earl Simmons). In 1999 he went up for weapons possessions charges and the snowball began. Since then DMX has been charged with everything from animal cruelty, identity falsification, and drug possession.

There’s so much to like about T.I. that something like finding about him serving a jail term can feel like an assault to the senses. But the fact is this likeable rapper from Georgia has been there more than once. He spent time in jail for drug possession and weapons possession. He also violated the terms of his probation and had to go back in twice.
