This entertaining rapper is not from California where she currently resides. Instead, Minaj was born Onika Tanya Maraj of Saint James, Trinidad. That has not stopped her however from becoming one of the most popular rappers in the United States. She has also sent money back to her family in Trinidad to make their lives better.
