After being releasedfrom prison in July 2011, Earl Simmons, known by his rapper name DMX,began talking publicly about having bipolar disorder. He made it clear that he has trouble distinguishing the difference between Earl Simmons and his rapper self,”X.” Simmons said, “X, X is the bad guy. I used to be really clear about who was what and what each characteristics each personality had, but at this point I’m not even sure there is a difference.”
