It looks like actress Sanaa Lathan has her mind on being a superstar singer and wants to throw in her acting cap for a little while. Today the actress turned singer releases her new song ‘Emotional” featuring Daj Loaf. Although the award-winning actress just recently dropped her new film The Perfect Guy starring Morris Chestnut and Michael Ealy, Sanaa Lathan still has her mind set on being a successful recording artist.

In Sanaa’s new song which was produced by super producer Detail. Sanaa Lathan sings about men and how they can be just as emotional as their female counterparts. Dej Loaf helps her friend out donating a cool verse where she raps about the same thing.
Detail, who is known for producing Beyonce’s chart-topping song “Drunk In Love” featuring JAY Z, knows how to make a hit. He apparently scouted out Sanaa after a screening of her new movie and the two scheduled to meet in the studio later.
