The documentary takes you on a personal journey of his life from the violatile and war-torn streets of Congo recounting his childhood, revisiting neighborhoods where he once slept in empty lots and practiced basketball without shoes to the big leagues of the NBA and dealing with the realty that faces the new generation of Congolesse youth. For 54 minutes, through his poise and big heart, you forget that he’s an NBA all-star and get to know him, Ibaka Ngobila Serge Jonas the man from the streets of the Republic of Congo.
