Yesterday was a special day in hip-hop as it was the day that a star/super producer was born by the name of Kasseem Dean aka Swizz Beatz. Swiss is a Bronx born and raised MC and got his start at the age of 16, producing for DMX which was signed to Ruff Ryder label (a label in which Swiss’s uncle owns).

He went on to produce many hit records and even became a Grammy award winner and also launched the career of a young Philly MC by the name of Cassidy who came on to the scene with his witty wordplay.
